AAPR to Provide Free Tax Help at Bob Lutz Library in Fulshear

Mark Johnson, AARP Volunteer, wants Fulshear.com readers to know that he and other local AARP Volunteers will be providing free income tax assistance each Saturday beginning in February and continuing through April.  The location will be at the Bob Lutz, Fulshear-Simonton Library in Fulshear, Texas.  The volunteers will be available from 1-4pm each Saturday.

More from Mark Johnson:
“The income tax preparation will be every Saturday at the Fulshear Bob Lutts Library, from 1-4pm.  It begins the first Saturday in February and ends with the April 15th deadline.  This is a program of “AARP Tax-Aide” and strongly favors electronic filing — though paper mail-in returns can be done if the taxpayer really wants that. We are most oriented toward middle-low income or retired persons, however we hate to turn anybody away unless their return is just too complicated for our training. For more affluent taxpayers we may be limited to answering questions rather than filing the return electronically.

If you are interested in receiving the free income tax filing assistance, please bring your tax documents with you including your prior year tax return.

Our advice?  Come early and don’t wait till the last day!
