Ms. Lillian Chase is 83 years old and the primary caregiver of a special needs adult daughter.  She has been a hard-working lifetime resident of the Fulshear-Simonton area and her mobile home is in grave disrepair.

A grassroots effort has been brewing to get funding towards a newer mobile home for this special lady, as well as updated furniture and housewares.  Towards this end, a fish fry benefit is set for next weekend for take-away orders only.

If you can’t make the fish fry, but still want to help, there are other donation opportunities as well (see bottom of this article).  Winter Gordon has supplied a storage unit for the collection of gently-used or new housewares and furnishings, so that is another option.

The newer mobile home is set to be delivered in the next three weeks.  Please let your friends and families know about this fund raiser by forwarding to your address book entries and perhaps your places of business.

An account has been set up at Wallis State Bank in Fulshear, where you can make checks payable to Ms. Lillian Chase.  You may also mail checks made out to Ms. Lillian Chase to:  Lillian Chase c/o Loretta Williams P.O. Box 402  Simonton, TX 77476
