Excitment is Building for the Fulshear Freedom Fest – July 2nd

The Fulshear Freedom Fest is just weeks away.  The event is scheduled for July 2nd and will feature traditional parade, family fun, vendor booths and other events.

The event will begin at 6:30 pm with a parade from the Library on FM 1093 and end in front of the Methodist Church.

The festivities, which feature the Girl Scouts, will be held in the vacant lots across from the Methodist Church.  There will be a lot of events throughout the evening – even the Mayor will be singing – more on that later.  The “Starlettes” will perform, Beauty Contest Results, Live Band, the first ever “Church Smackdown”, a Tae Kwon Do demonstration, a Camel, and much more.  There will be over 30 booths with vendors and kids events like face painting, a clown, and balloon animals and of course, a fireworks display should begin around 9:30 pm!

Last year, over 3000 people came out.  This year, it should be even better.
