Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day!

Join the City of Fulshear in celebrating this uniquely “Fulshear” version of the Irish tradition!

The fun starts March 17th at 5:30 PM in Downtown Fulshear.  There will be lots of fun for everyone including:

Casey Pope Properties will be hosting their 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off benefiting Child Advocates of Fort Bend, Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 4 – 8 p.m on the grounds of Casey Pope Properties.  If you would like information on cook-off teams or vendor booths please call 281.346.1100.

The event is free to the public however donations to Child Advocates would be appreciated.  We will have a live band, classic cars, mechanical bull, moon bounce and more.

The Houston Polo Club offers an 8 week instructional course in the sport of polo.  Individuals who have never played polo will learn everything necessary about the game, while enthusiasts of all levels can sharpen their skills.  The Houston Polo Club offers riding lessons for individuals who have never ridden.

Addison Marshall is Fulshear’s hometown hero.  Many in our community are familiar with young Addison’s battle to overcome Leukemia.  Still in high school, Addison is surrounded by his family, friends, neighbors, and well-wishers as he continues in his fight to beat this dreadful disease.

While the medical bills continue to grow and Addison’s strength continues to be challenged, others are stepping in to help in the fight and asking for your help.  Melissa Green has taken on the task of scheduling a benefit golf tournament to help raise funds to defray the mounting medical costs.

The tournament, which is to be held at the Weston Lakes Golf Course, is scheduled for Monday, March 22.  It is set to begin at 1:00 pm.

Please join with the community in support of this fundraiser.  The life of our neighbor, Addison Marshall, hangs in the balance.  Imagine if this were a member of your own family, then please, pick up the phone and call.  Your support is appreciated more than you know.
