Cross Creek Ranch hosted its 3rd annual Christmas Tree Lighting at their Welcome Center, Friday November 28th. From 6 to 8pm family, friends and neighbors gathered to ring in the holidays together.
Santa and Mrs. Claus were the guests of honor. They drew a large crowd eager to get pictures with the famous duo. No one was left disappointed.
Kids enjoyed the various holiday crafts set out just for them. They had the choice of making ornaments, pine cone trees or a string of fingerprint lights.
Most of all, kids and adults alike, enjoyed sipping hot cocoa and eating cookies while chatting with friends and neighbors. Kids had fun running around the unlit tree in anticipation for the big lighting that was to take place at 7pm.
Cross Creek Ranch sure put on a great event. Don McCoy, with the Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce, led the tree lighting countdown. And just like that, the tree was lit and the holidays are officially in full swing.
