On July 4th, 2015, the notorious outlaw “Curly McGee”, along with his sidekick “Pancho Villa”, tried to take over the festivities being held in downtown Fulshear, Texas.
Thankfully, due to the watchful eyes of the faithful newly-sworn-in deputies, ol’ Curly’s plans were foiled. Fortunately for the Fulshear faithful, Sheriff Don McCoy had planned ahead by recruiting his two best old west good-guy gunslingers “Doc Parker” and “Tumbleweed”. Together, along with the town’s young deputies, they all shamed the outlaws into leaving town.
Sheriff Don was heard to say “Good riddance – those rascals aren’t welcome in Fulshear until they learn to be nicer”.
Of course, as you’ll see in the video, it was all in good fun. The kids enjoyed being part of the show and it was a great photo op for all the parents and grandparents in the crowd.
