Simonton Area Flood ReliefNumerous area churches have joined with area business and benevolent groups to assist with gathering resources to benefit Simonton area residents as they struggle to deal with the current flood crisis.

According to Don McCoy, Executive Director of the Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce, his group is now working with the Brazos River Rotary Club, the Fulshear-Simonton Lions Club, and “Fulshear Family Hope“,  a 501(c)(3) organization under the direction of Dr. Dale Olson. Fulshear Family Hope, a 501(c)(3) organization, is supported by their church partners, Simonton Community Church, First United Methodist Church, Fulshear, Parkway Fellowship, WordServe Church, Riverbend Baptist Church as well as several other area churches.

Volunteers
The City of Simonton is coordinating and collecting names of volunteers to help once the recovery begins. You can sign up at the City of Simonton’s website, SimontonTexas.gov.
