Grab the family and come to downtown Fulshear Saturday, December 6, 2014 and enjoy Fulshear’s annual “Featival of Lights”. The event starts at 5pm and runs until 9pm. The event is co-hosted by the Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fulshear.
5:00 pm: Tree Lighting
Mayor Tommy Kuykendall will officiate for the annual Tree Lighting at 5:00 pm..
6:15: Light Parade
The annual “light parade” will start at 6:15. The parade will travel down Main Street. Whether you’re an individual, family, group, or business, if you want to participate in the parade, you can register for the parade for free. Just make sure that you light yourselves, your float or your vehicle appropriately.
7:15: Elvis Takes the Stage
Elvis, otherwise known as Johnny Sexton, will be there entertaining the crowd as the featured performer for the “Rock n’ Roll Christmas Spectacular. Johnny is known nationally for his musical talents and has spent thirty years honoring the “King”. Elvis’ performance will begin 7:15pm.
Fulshear are band “Saenz of the Time”, will get the party started and will provide the music for “Elvis” as well.
All Evening: Booths and Family Fun
There will be vendor booths for shopping and plenty for the kids to do too. So, bring your Christmas list and let the kids run in the Kids area and Santa’s Village. This is put on by New Creation Lutheran Church, First Fulshear United Methodist Church, Riverbend Baptist Church and Thrive Church.
No Christmas celebration would be complete without Santa. He’ll be there too. So whether you’ve been naughty or nice, you’ll be able to tell the Jolly ol’ Elf what you want for Christmas.
9:00 pm: Fireworks Display
Fulshear’s Christmas event just wouldn’t be complete without a spectacular fireworks display. This year, the fireworks will begin at 9:00 pm. You don’t want to miss it!
